Chef Robert Cangelosi started his culinary career at a young age, working his way up through the industry to achieve the status of Executive Chef at several four star New York City restaurants. With the ability to create dishes from many facets of the culinary world, he excels in fine dining, refreshing and simple European bistro style food, home-style comfort cooking, as well as upscale catered affairs and banquets. He has had the pleasure of cooking for celebrities, former presidents and heads of state alike. With his love of international foods Chef Rob has bridged the gap of these worlds and brought them together in his newest establishment, CONCRETE, a Tapas bar and lounge located in the heart of midtown Manhattan.

Chicken Greek Salad—Grilled chicken with baby Romaine leaves mixed with red onions, tomato, cucumbers, black olives and Feta cheese

Short Rib Chimichurri—Slow braised short ribs mopped with chimichurri sauce in a crisp baguette; topped with crispy onions; served with vegetable chips and coleslaw

Crabcake Slider—Jumbo lump crabmeat cake with lettuce, tomato and herb aioli

Cajun Catfish Po Boy Slider—Crispy fried catfish with lettuce, tomato, red onions and a spicy tartar sauce

Bacon Cheese Burger—All American with apple wood smoked bacon

Aubergine—Slow roasted fresh peppers, eggplant, tomatoes and black olives; served in mini tartlet shells topped with Goat cheese and fine herbs

fries were soggy but sandwich was delicious!!

Awesome finally a great place in midtown. I had the fish tacos they were incredible.
